Let me first start off by saying, there aren't any shortcuts when it comes to losing that 10-15 lbs before your trip to Cancun, getting a more toned-defined body, or getting that six-pack for the summer.

Think about it... we've all gotten ourselves all hyped up to start a new workout program that's guaranteed to "change everything"(or so the say) ... then after a few weeks, if that, the initial burst of motivation disappears. We miss a day, which turns into 2 or 3, and your motivation goes completely out the window. You look in the bathroom mirror in the morning, and there's absolutely nothing happening.


Looking back, the #1 single thing I can point to that led to my 65 lb weight loss transformation, it's been the consistency over time.


So, whether you get your exercise or not, the time is going pass by anyways.... you might as well start building your wall now, brick by brick, one day at a time, and you'll look up one day to see that you built a castle!


Don't go into it thinking the results are going to happen over night. That just sets you up for a roller-coaster of disappointment. Stay focused on doing the little things, every single day, and believing in process. If you're able to keep this long-term mindset, you'll hit your goal every time. This not only applies to your health & fitness, but in every other aspect of life as well.
Consistency + Time = Results

The next time you set a goal, plan out little steps that over time(kind of like a road map) that will navigate you directly to your target. Always keep in mind that a workout, even if it's only 10-15 minutes is so much better than skipping a day. Lastly, keep your thinking long-term, this way you don't get demotivated along the way.
