10 Simple Diet Tips You Can Start Using TODAY!(Part 2)

Here's 10 more Diet Tips you can start using TODAY to help you get closer to your Goal!

This is a continuation of 10 Simple Diet Tips You Can Start Using TODAY!(Part 1)



1) Put down the fork. Studies show that by putting your fork down on your plate in-between each bite it'll stop you from scarfing down way more food than you should. Take some time out to just really enjoy & appreciate the food you're eating.

2) Switch it up. The next time you go to the supermarket, try some new vegetables or fruits that you've never tried before. I know that trying new things an be scary, but there's a good chance that you'll find new healthy foods that you fall in love with. In order to have things you've never had before, you have to actually DO something different.

TIP - Go to a local farmers market. They'll let you sample all kinds of good stuff for FREE! Yup... go there on an empty stomach and you won't ever leave hungry.

3) There's an App for that. If you have a smart phone, there's a bunch of dieting apps that can help you stay on track with your eating. Check out - Calorie Counter & Diet Tracker by MyFitnessPal.

4) Smoothies! Find a healthy(but yummy) smoothie you can phase into your daily routine. They can help you really cut back on the calories, and at the same time fill you up. I actually look forward to mine daily, and it takes care of my sweet tooth at the same time.

5) Find a vegetable dip. Try a veggie dip like Hummus(sooo good!) to dip your healthy snacks in, instead of cream based dips like ranch sauce.

6) Focus on what you're eating. Eating distracted can make you over-eat or eat emotionally without even realizing it. Try to stay away from eating while you're in front of the TV or at the movie theatre.

7) Chew some gum. The next time you get a craving in-between your next meal pop in a piece of gum, and watch that craving disappear.

8) Buy Protein in bulk. Buy a bunch of chicken breasts and cook them up(baked not fried) on Sunday night, and you'll have enough to last you all week. From there it's easy to put together a bunch of different healthy dishes like chicken salad, or chicken with brown rice & mixed veggies.

9) Do some spring cleaning. Go through your fridge and cupboards, and get rid of all the junk food. You can't eat it if it isn't there.

10) No skipping the most important meal of the day. Eat your breakfast! It's been proven a million and one times that people who eat breakfast are more likely to lose weight.
