What Does True Motivation Look/Feel Like?

This is probably the #1 question I get, "How do you stay motivated?"

I wanted to share my thoughts real quick and hopefully they'll help you achieve whatever goals you're going after this year.

First off, TRUE motivation can only come from one place. 

You can watch 100 motivational Youtube videos, listen to your favorite workout jams, have a friend get you all hyped up... but at the end of the day, true motivation can only come from within.

Why is that?

In a nutshell, external motivation never lasts for very long. A perfect example is when we make a New Years resolution to lose weight or get "ripped" by the summer(we've ALL done this)... you get all amped up, get going, and then that motivation fades into thin air.

It’s not till you make a concrete decision, leaving out any other options except for how you decide it’s going to be!

What should that feel like?

It should feel almost like a smoldering fire, deep... REALLY deep within you that never burns out. It only needs a little bit of fanning to keep the fire burning hot.

You should be nervous, excited, and almost sick to your stomach.

Why?


Because thats when you know that your life will NEVER be the same.

In my opinion that's when real, lasting change happens. If you're not quite there, go really deep inside and find that emotional reason why you need change and why you're not willing to give up until it happens!
