Have You Ever Heard Of "Glamping"??!

So, earlier this week, me and my girlfriend, Alta went "Glamping", have you ever heard of it??

Basically, it's glamorous camping... meaning you get most of the benefits of camping(nature, etc...) without having to totally rough it.

Don't get me wrong, I love camping in tents and all that, but it was a nice change. To be able to sleep on beds instead of the ground in a sleeping bag was pretty sweet!

The main purpose of the trip was to get away, unplug a bit, and just enjoy nature -
It was just what I needed... a nice getaway from the busy-ness of LA.

Day 1:
When we get there, we had to meetup with this guide, who took us about 15 minutes into the middle of the desert on dirt roads.

We pulled up to the house, and there's these two really beautiful dome-shaped houses, fully equipped with a pool, bbq & solar panels. The best part - we even had wifi & cell phone reception!

After we got settled in we bbq'd, swam in the pool, meditated, read books, had a few drinks, relaxed, and even got some work done.

Day 2:
The views I woke up to in the backyard were pretty sick!(picture looking out your bedroom window and you're in the middle of the desert with no one else around to disturb your peace.) It was so nice to be able to wake up and not have to be in a rush to get anywhere.

Our friends Jazz & Will came to meet up with us the second day. It was like a couples retreat there for a minute. Later in the day we went hiking, rock climbing, and had great convo over a candle-lit dinner. We had such a blast!!!

Then, we lit a fire in the fire-place and called it a night...

Little getaways like this wouldn't even be possible for us without the extra income from Beachbody. I'd STILL be complaining that I "don't have the money". By far, to me, one of the best perks of being a coach is the freedom to work from anywhere!

If you're not a huge fan of the outdoors, but want to go on a quiet getaway, "Glamping" is the way to go!
